Henrico County is advancing construction of a new NCAA‑regulation baseball complex at Glover Park in Glen Allen, intended to attract college tournaments and boost sports tourism. The development spans approximately 80 acres of a 200‑acre site, including six synthetic diamond fields with stadium seating erected through a public‑private partnership with Prep Baseball Report. The project also includes expanded parking and additional amenities, with partial opening anticipated by spring 2026. Although not directly involving Raintree Baseball & Softball Academy, this facility has the potential to influence regional baseball and softball development, offering a prospective venue where the academy's athletes might benefit from elevated competitive and training opportunities.
