Idaho Falls Hosts Shootout Barbeque and Youth Flag Football Programming
Friday Night Flag Idaho Falls remains active this spring through the league’s broader youth flag football involvement in the region. While direct updates from the club are limited, recent soccer-related activity in the area underscores a robust local sports calendar. The Idaho Falls Shootout soccer tournament took place May 7–9, 2026, featuring a “Shootout @ the Shootout” penalty-kick competition and barbeque on Friday night at Old Butte Soccer Complex (idahofallsshootout.com). Concurrently, the YMCA in Idaho Falls continues to offer youth flag football and soccer programs this summer, with summer sessions opening June 1 and registration underway through mid-May (idahofallsymca.org). The club’s affiliation with NFL Flag through Friday Night Flag Idaho Falls ensures its integration within this dynamic youth sports environment.
