Indianapolis Indians Begin Prospects Weekend Following Mixed Results
The Indianapolis Indians, following a rain-affected setback against the Columbus Clippers and a challenging outing versus the Louisville Bats, are back in action at Victory Field. The team dropped a 7‑5 decision to the Clippers after being held under wet conditions in early April (aol.com), then suffered an 8‑0 shutout at the hands of the Bats behind a dominant performance from Chase Petty (milb.com). With Prospects Weekend now underway through April 12, the Indians will showcase a roster featuring eight of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ top 30 prospects while wearing Bucco-themed jerseys and hosting fan experiences including autograph sessions and a bobblehead giveaway (milb.com).
