Jasper Freeride offers spring ‘Try It’ days at Marmot Basin for new park riders
Jasper Freeride is opening the park gates to beginners and intermediates this spring, hosting ‘Try It’ days at Marmot Basin on March 22–23 and April 12–13. Thanks to an Every Kid Can Play grant, the club can offer the sessions for about $25 to cover insurance [1].Coaches plan a full day on snow with park and all‑mountain riding, plus access to the club airbag for safe progression. Skiers will also have the option to work moguls with dedicated coaching. Meet‑up is set for 9:15 a.m. at the club’s airbag location between Parking Lots 3 and 4 at Marmot Basin [1][2].Riders should arrive with lift tickets, full gear and helmets, and a packed lunch. The program is aimed at youth looking for a first taste of freestyle in a supportive setting, with details and age‑group guidance shared through the club’s channels [1][3]. Registration is available at jasperfreeride.com/tryit [1].
