MLB alum Mike Colangelo anchors Manassas player-development hub with Colangelo Baseball
Manassas’ Colangelo Baseball has built a player‑development hub grounded in big‑league fundamentals—camps, small‑group instruction, and college‑recruiting guidance for families [1]. The program is led by Mike Colangelo, an MLB alum with the Angels and A’s, who mentors hitters and serves on the Stars Showcase staff [2].Within the Stars/Marucci Stars umbrella, teams compete under his name at age groups such as Stars Baseball 15U Colangelo [3]. The outfit keeps its community plugged in with regular updates and staff notes on social media [4], and Colangelo has outlined his teaching approach in extended interview settings with the travel‑ball community [5].
