OHSAA Expands Divisions for Baseball and Softball in Central Ohio
The Ohio High School Athletic Association board unanimously approved expansion of postseason divisions for several sports, including baseball and softball, in central Ohio. Beginning with the 2024‑25 school year, the number of divisions for both baseball and softball increases from four to seven, aiming to reduce enrollment disparities across classifications (aol.com). This change carries potential relevance for Walk Off Sports Academy, an indoor training facility in Columbus serving baseball and softball athletes, as its participants may compete under the newly structured divisional system in local and regional tournaments (walkoffcolumbus.com).
