Portland Cascade to Begin Play at New Hillsboro Softball Venue
The Yard Baseball Academy is situated in a regional environment seeing significant growth in baseball and softball infrastructure. Notably, the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) will introduce the Portland Cascade as one of its six city-based teams for the upcoming 2026 season (en.wikipedia.org). The team will host its home games at the newly opened Hillsboro Hops Ballpark in Hillsboro, adjacent to Beaverton, underscoring enhanced local access to elite-level softball competition (axios.com). This development may present synergistic opportunities for the club’s athletes to engage with expanded elite softball programming in the Portland metro region.
