Reno Astros Baseball Legacy Remembered as Youth Softball Triumphs
While recent news specifically about Reno Astros Baseball remains elusive, fans of the team can take pride in the thriving baseball and softball community in Reno. A local girls’ 10-and-under softball All-Star team from Reno captured the Nevada State Championship on July 13, 2025, demonstrating the same spirit and teamwork that Reno Astros Baseball fans hold dear. Coached by dedicated volunteers, the young athletes went undefeated through district and state play, with standout performances from catcher Parker Record and pitcher Kylan Anderson, who delivered 73 strikeouts with a remarkable 0.45 postseason ERA (thisisreno.com). As we remember Reno Astros Baseball’s storied past, this young team’s success spotlights the future of the sport in our community.
