Right-hander Khristian Curtis selected by Pittsburgh after IL Pitcher of the Week nod
Khristian Curtis earned International League Pitcher of the Week honors in mid-June after a run of standout outings for the Indians [4][3]. Pittsburgh then selected the right-hander’s contract in July, moving him to the big-league roster for a doubleheader in Cleveland [1][2].Curtis enters as a ranked Pirates prospect, listed No. 21 by MLB Pipeline at the time of his promotion [1]. For Indians fans who watched him settle in at Victory Field, the call is a timely reward for a sharp month on the bump [4][1].
