Savannah Bananas Cap Historic Home Opener with 500th Consecutive Sellout
The Savannah Bananas marked their 2026 home opener at Grayson Stadium by preserving an extraordinary streak—selling out for the 500th consecutive time—while sweeping the visiting Firefighters in Sunday’s game. The team secured a 5–1 victory, clad in kilts, overcoming a rain delay with fan-focused activities during the interruption. The club remains the only undefeated team in the league and will continue its season with upcoming games in New Orleans, Little Rock and Round Rock. The run reflects the team’s sustained popularity and commitment to entertainment during live events. The Savannah Bananas continue to draw significant attention across their expanding tour.
