SFA Baseball Complex Region Featured in Recent Lumberjacks Matchups
The SFA Baseball Complex has been the backdrop for several recent Stephen F. Austin baseball and softball contests, reflecting the ongoing activity at Jaycees Field at Pilgrim’s Park. On April 3, in Nacogdoches, the Lumberjacks secured an 8‑3 victory over Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, where sophomore Cermodrick Bland achieved three hits, including an RBI double, and pitcher Reid Bowyer contributed innings in relief (nationaltoday.com). Additionally, McNeese State traveled to Stephen F. Austin for their final road Southland Conference series in late April, with games hosted at the campus venue, adjusted into a Saturday doubleheader due to weather, and streamed live on ESPN+ (mcneesesports.com). These events underscore the SFA Baseball Complex’s role as a central venue for the Lumberjacks’ spring competition schedule.
