Sonoma Stompers Shut Out Alameda Anchors in Tight 4‑2 Contest
Hello Anchors fans! We’re reporting directly from our dugout: the Alameda Anchors Baseball Club battled hard on June 1, 2025, but came up just short in a 4‑2 road loss to the Sonoma Stompers. Despite fierce competition, our pitchers were outmatched by Sonoma’s bullpen, which locked us down with just four hits and three walks allowed across six strong innings. A late rally showed the Anchors’ spirit, but ultimately fell short as the Stomps sealed the win. We’ll regroup and return to Pat Bail Field with renewed focus—our commitment to excellence and Anchor pride remains unshaken.
