West Chester Township Advances Baseball Complex Management Plan
West Chester Township trustees have endorsed a new operational model for the West Chester Baseball Complex designed to enhance community access and financial performance. The township has selected Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) to manage the complex, tapping into SFC’s national expertise in sports facility operations. Under the arrangement, SFC will receive a management fee of $180,000 for 2026 and oversee up to $250,000 in capital improvements to fields, grounds and concessions. The township expects the facility to operate at a loss in 2026 due to delayed scheduling, with a financial break-even projected for 2027. The improvements aim to broaden use by local recreation groups, schools and leagues while drawing regional visitors. Ohio Baseball Science Academy is well-positioned to benefit from enhanced program opportunities at the updated facility.
