White Sox place Everson Pereira on 7-day concussion IL; recall Junior Pérez from Triple-A Charlotte
The Sox placed outfielder Everson Pereira on the 7-day concussion injured list after a diving catch and recalled Junior Pérez from Triple-A Charlotte to fill the roster spot [1][2].Pérez arrives with a high-variance profile: plus power and speed that can change a game, paired with elevated strikeout rates that will test him at the big-league level [2].On the health front, Jordan Hicks took a step forward with rehab assignment work, and Munetaka Murakami continued to progress in his return from a hamstring issue [1].
