Youth Baseball Field Expansion Proposal Highlights Hill Country Area Needs
Growing demand for youth baseball and softball in the Lakeway and Bee Cave area has placed pressure on available field space, with several select teams now training as far as 25 miles away due to limited local access. This issue is heightened by development in the Hill Country Galleria area, which resulted in the closure of fields previously used by local youth associations. The situation has prompted renewed discussions on expanding city parks and athletic facilities to better accommodate teams like Hill Country Baseball Club and others operating in the region.
