StoryItalian National Time Trial Champion Retains Tricolour Jersey
Elisa Longo Borghini, riding for UAE Team ADQ, successfully defended her Italian Elite Women’s Road Championship title in Darfo Boario Terme on June 28, 2025. The 33‑year‑old from Piedmont executed a powerful solo attack on the climb of Muro di Cornaleto and crossed the finish line alone, claiming the iconic tricolour jersey. The team provided strategic support, controlling the race and positioning Longo Borghini perfectly for her decisive move (uaeteamadq.com). Although no recent news specifically involves A.S.D. TEAM EMMEBIKE, this national result underscores the competitive strength of Italian cycling—an environment of interest for regional clubs such as A.S.D. TEAM EMMEBIKE.
