StoryBoost Region Highlights Kandahar’s Role in Merwais Nika Trophy
Boost Region, representing Kandahar among other provinces, is participating in the Merwais Nika Regional 3‑Day Trophy 2026, currently underway from April 2 to April 20 across Kandahar and Lashkar Gah venues. The team is featured in multiple matches hosted in Kandahar, underscoring the city’s importance as a key cricket hub for first‑class domestic cricket (wpleague.in). Kandahar’s position as a cricket centre is further reinforced by the presence of Kandahar International Cricket Stadium, which serves as the home ground for Boost Region and regularly hosts red‑ball and limited‑overs domestic matches (en.wikipedia.org).
