StoryFinnish Archery Activity Highlights Region Ahead of Summer Season
The Finnish Archery Association (Suomen Jousiampujain Liitto, SJAL) has announced that the 2026 national outdoor season will introduce new participation criteria for the Lappeenranta Target Finnish Championships, requiring competitors to submit at least one valid recorded result prior to the event (sjal.fi). These measures aim to enhance competitive standards and preparation among athletes. Clubs across Finland, including Kolaus ry, may find these developments relevant as archers prepare for the evolving competitive landscape. Additionally, SJAL has published dates for upcoming training camps and courses across various regions, offering expanded opportunities for archers at all levels to engage with the sport through structured programming (sjal.fi).
