Fans attending the regional received exclusive ticket discounts for Saltdogs’ home series against the Sioux Falls Canaries. Festivities included giveaways such as free T‑shirts, magnetic schedules, concert ticket drawings and a post‑game fireworks show on Friday, with additional promotions through the weekend. The scheduling effort highlighted coordinated baseball and softball engagement in Lincoln. The Saltdogs followed with a rain‑shortened 2‑1 loss to Sioux Falls, an eight‑inning contest cut short by inclement weather.
