StoryMerritt Pickleball Club Preserves Local Sporting Heritage
As members of Merritt Pickleball Club, we’re thrilled to reflect on our deepening roots in the community. In 2025, we formally assumed control of the clubhouse once used by the historic lawn bowling club on Merritt Avenue, securing our lease and stewardship of the space. We’re honoured to be caretakers of the former club’s memorabilia—now safely donated to the Nicola Valley Museum and Archives—honouring 100 years of sporting history in Merritt. As we continue to grow our pickleball community and preserve this legacy, we remain committed to providing a welcoming, active space for players of all ages. Come join us as we write the next chapter in Merritt’s sporting story!
