Olimpiya Kirovo‑Chepetsk secured contract extensions for key players as the 2025‑2026 VHL regular season came to a close. On April 29, forward Maxim Pikov and defenseman Denis Tolpegin both extended their contracts, reinforcing the team’s core amid a challenging campaign. The club concluded the season with 61 points in 62 games, finishing 23rd in the standings and falling short of the playoff cutoff. These moves signal the organization’s intent to retain experienced contributors and potentially build toward improved performance next season. The club, Olimpiya, will look to capitalize on this continuity heading into 2026‑2027.
