StoryMadrid-grown golf development spotlights Real Club de Golf Las Rozas de Madrid
The Real Club de Golf Las Rozas de Madrid continues to reinforce its role in nurturing new talent through its enhanced golf academy. Under the leadership of Manuel “Lolo” Gómez, the club’s golf school has expanded, currently hosting more than 60 students aged between 6 and 18, spanning all competitive categories (rcgolflasrozas.es). The club, originally founded as Club de Golf Las Matas in March 1968, received the “Real” designation from the Spanish Royal Household in May 2022, marking its 50th anniversary since the first board of directors (esmadrid.com). These developments reflect the Real Club de Golf Las Rozas de Madrid’s ongoing commitment to golf education and its standing in the region.
