StoryFrom the Hudson to Nationals: Rhinebeck Crew’s archive highlights a proud program
Rhinebeck Crew’s recent and archival clips trace a familiar arc on the Hudson—long strokes on home water and test days at Saratoga. In 2019, the program put out a promotional piece spotlighting student‑athletes training on the river and racing upstate in Saratoga [1].Go back a decade and the high school boats were already making noise. Rhinebeck High School Crew capped a successful 2009 campaign with a trip to the National Championships [2].Between those touchstones, a May 2015 practice found the squad logging steady pieces on the Hudson, with KM Sistare setting the rhythm from the stroke seat [3].Together, the archive spans 2009–2019 and centers on Hudson River sessions and Saratoga race days—evidence of a program grounded in its water and unafraid of bigger stages [1][2][3].
