Stirling Swimming

Stirling Swimming continues to benefit from innovation at the National Swimming Academy where a new research initiative is enhancing elite performance. A four‑year study led by former competitive swimmer Adham Sanoufi is underway, integrating predictive analytics, machine learning and applied sports science to support swimmers from Stirling, including Olympic champions, through data‑driven coaching insights. The project deploys SwimTrack technology— a bespoke, 10‑camera system — to analyse technical performance factors and identify improvement areas. This applied research, conducted in partnership with Aquatics GB and the University of Stirling, aims to refine training methods and offers real‑time feedback to coaches and athletes. The initiative positions Stirling Swimming at the forefront of elite aquatic performance development.
