StoryTargeting Archery Club in Scholes offers year-round shooting and Archery GB coaching
Targeting Archery Club is based in Scholes, Leeds, shooting on the grounds of St. Philip’s Church and moving indoors to St. Luke’s Community Centre in Swarcliffe for winter. Saturday outdoor sessions run year‑round from 09:30, with summer Tuesday evenings outdoors and winter Thursday evenings indoors. [1]The club is Archery GB–registered and led by Archery GB–qualified coaches, welcoming juniors and seniors who are Archery GB members or have recently completed a beginners’ course; beginners can take courses through Targeting Archery. [1][2]The range sits just off the A64 with easy links from the A1 and M1, serving archers across West Yorkshire and nearby. [1]Targeting Archery also offers coaching, taster and kids sessions in Scholes and at local clubs. The lead coach is county‑level, works with adults, juniors and disabled archers, supports the Yorkshire Archery Squad, and has helped athletes who later competed at events including the Invictus Games and the DoD Warrior Games. [2]For newcomers seeking a friendly shoot with structured coaching and flexible sessions across the year, the Scholes setup keeps arrows flying in all seasons. [1]
