StoryWhite River Golf Club Highlights Monthly League Play Across Puget Sound
White River Golf Club, a men’s traveling league based in Auburn, Washington, continues its monthly Sunday competitions across the Seattle–Tacoma–Bremerton region. Members, grouped into “A” and “B” flights based on handicap, compete for low‑net scores, par‑3 closest‑to‑pin prizes and optional match play formats, reflecting the club’s somewhat competitive yet sociable nature (wagolf.org). Meanwhile, golf activity in the broader region remains robust. The 2025 Seattle Women’s Golf Association City Championship recently concluded at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, drawing representation from 14 private clubs in the area (wagolf.org). These events underscore a sustained enthusiasm for organized golf in the White River club’s broader community.
