Area Baseball & Softball Facilities Highlight Local Development
Legacy Baseball Academy is situated near Excelsior Springs and, while not featured in recent news, remains connected to a growing regional infrastructure supporting baseball and softball. Excelsior Springs high school teams continue to compete actively; for example, the Lady Tigers scored a combined 57 runs over five games and finished second in the Excelsior Springs Tournament in late September 2025 (excelsiorcitizen.com). Meanwhile, the local parks system continues expanding its recreational capacity, with the city’s comprehensive plan noting current and future demand for additional softball and baseball fields (cityofesmo.com). These developments underscore a vibrant community environment in which Legacy Baseball Academy operates.
