Area Youth Baseball Funding Boosts Local Programs
Altoona Curve Charities recently awarded grants and in‑kind support to multiple youth sports organizations in the region, with recipients including programs in Cambria County and nearby areas. The funding supports grassroots baseball and softball development opportunities around Cresson, potentially benefiting local leagues such as the Cresson Little Baseball League. The organization’s 2024 grant cycle aided 31 community groups engaged in youth sports activity and education. This infusion of resources is expected to enhance training infrastructure and community engagement for regional youth baseball and softball initiatives.
