Baseball Unlimited’s BBU Tigers anchor Waltham with year-round training and travel teams
Baseball Unlimited operates as the home of the BBU Tigers in Waltham, based at 55 Athletic Field Road and serving local players with year-round instruction and team programming [1][6]. The club fields age-group travel teams, with offerings spanning youth levels through 17U alongside structured development and coaching support [1][2].The program’s leadership runs deep in the city’s baseball community. Waltham natives Rich Cordani and Zenith Marimon oversee the facility and teams; Cordani reached Double-A in the Milwaukee Brewers system and Marimon played in the Oakland Athletics organization [5]. The facility’s competitive footprint includes an AAU chapter that was introduced for 13–15-year-olds in 2011, underscoring the program’s longevity in the area [5].BBU’s staff emphasizes teaching the game and building competitive travel rosters, while the club’s @bbutigers channels share updates—such as tryout notices and facility information—to keep families connected throughout the season [2][3][4]. The Waltham location remains central to everything the Tigers do, providing a consistent home base for training and team play [1][6].
