Big Spring Steers Drop Fifth Straight in Recent Baseball Setback
The Big Spring Dawgs Baseball program (Big Spring Steers baseball team) saw the program’s baseball counterpart, Big Spring Steers, endure a difficult outing on March 10, 2026, as the team suffered a 13-3 loss to the Snyder Tigers, marking the Steers’ fifth consecutive defeat. Jacobi Lozano provided a spark for the club with a multi-hit performance that included a double, a stolen base, and a run scored, but the team's efforts were insufficient to overcome Snyder’s offensive surge. The loss dropped Big Spring to a 6-14-1 record. Attention now turns to the upcoming inter-district contest against Frenship Memorial scheduled for Friday evening. The team looks to halt its slide and rebound in that matchup.
