Bixby returns big bats, eyes 6A title push in 2026 under Dean Wilson
Bixby lines up 2026 with momentum from a 31-10 season that ended in the state semifinals, and looks every bit a contender with five position players and four arms back in the fold [1]. Bixby competes in OSSAA Class 6A [3].Head coach Dean Wilson enters his seventh season, leaning on returners Barrett Standley (OF, 2027), Graham Knight (OF, 2026) and Nate Gonzalez (INF, 2026) to drive the offense [1].New faces expected to help immediately include Jackson Turney (1B, 2026), Cody Young (INF, 2026) and Connor Arant (RHP/INF, 2028), giving the Spartans length in the order and more options on the mound [1]. The program did graduate key production — notably Brian Justice, Coen Miller and Nate Lloyd — leaving innings to claim and roles to settle [1].If the staff firms up behind that core, the Spartans project as one of the state’s top offenses and a bona fide title threat in 2026 [1].
