Canastota Little League Prepares for Spring Concession Stand Role in Community Upgrades
Canastota Little League Concession continues to serve as a vital part of the club’s fundraising and operations as the local community pursues improvements to Recreation Park. The club currently shares use of Recreation Park with multiple youth organizations, including Pop Warner and AYSO, and stands to benefit from planned renovations funded through a New York Forward grant, which would assist in facility upgrades adjacent to the concession area (canastota.com). Meanwhile, municipal discussions have referenced the concession stand as central to park activities, with notes regarding necessary improvements to support volunteer operations and potential additions such as a bulletin board at the stand (canastota.com). These developments underscore the role of the concession stand in fostering community engagement and logistical infrastructure for youth sports in Canastota.
