While specific recent developments regarding the club remain limited, capoeira continues to play a dynamic role in the local cultural and athletic landscape. The Grupo Palmares, a prominent capoeira group in Araras, has recently started offering free capoeira classes on Tuesdays and Fridays at 19:00 at the Centro Cultural “Leny de Oliveira Zurita,” with registrations open to all interested participants (noticiasdeararas.com.br). This initiative underscores the continued vitality of capoeira instruction and community engagement in the city, aligning with broader efforts to preserve and promote martial arts traditions in the region.
