Charlottesville Tom Sox Bow to Winchester Royals in 10‑8 Valley League Win
Winchester Royals Baseball edged the Charlottesville Tom Sox 10‑8 in a Valley Baseball League matchup on July 6, 2025. The Royals secured the win behind a dominant relief appearance by Saxon Roberts, who tossed three shutout innings with four strikeouts and one hit allowed. The game remained tight until the late frames; with two outs and the bases loaded, a walk to Hudson Lutterman forced in the go‑ahead run after a lengthy 10‑pitch at‑bat. Winchester’s victory improved its standing in the competitive Valley League Northern Division.
