Chicago Cubs Scout Team (SoCal): rosters, tournaments and a college pipeline
Based in Calabasas, the Chicago Cubs Southern California Scout Team operates a scout/travel program that fields Upperclass squads at the 17U–18U level [1][2].The program publishes detailed rosters with positions and grad years and keeps active team pages on league and tournament platforms to track its groups through the calendar [4][6]. Perfect Game and USSSA hubs list the club within major travel circuits and event histories [2][3][8][9].Perfect Game’s organization listings attribute the program with a steady pipeline of college commitments and multiple MLB draft picks connected to its alumni, reflecting the group’s footprint in regional and national showcases [2][3]. USSSA pages carry roster histories and team profiles tied to Calabasas entries, adding further season-by-season context [8][9].Between spring and fall, the Cubs Scout Team is a familiar presence on PG and USSSA schedules, keeping local prospects on competitive stages across Southern California and beyond [2][3][8][9].
