Crew Athletics grows Spokane baseball pipeline with travel teams, training and PG results
Based in the Spokane/Spokane Valley area, Crew Athletics operates youth baseball programs and club teams, with an organizational hub and a documented 2020–21 Crew Baseball Spokane team entry [1][2].The club fields multiple age‑group travel squads, including a 13U unit on the Perfect Game circuit and a 14U “Crew” team registered in USSSA out of Spokane [4][5]. Spokane Crew has been competing on the regional scene for years; on March 24, 2018, a 14U side faced Athletics 14U Elite [6].Beyond team play, the program offers lessons, facility rentals and events, with a staff of trainers across hitting, pitching, catching, and strength & conditioning; trainers include Spencer Shipman, a current shortstop at Whitworth [1][7].Perfect Game’s organization page lists 35 college commitments tied to Crew Athletics and five Top‑3 finishes (one championship, four runners‑up), reflecting the club’s development track and competitive results [3].
