CT Mets Baseball Academy grows North Branford pipeline with 9U–18U teams, year-round training
Based at the CT Sportsplex in North Branford, CT Mets Baseball Academy anchors a year‑round pathway for local players. The program fields teams for ages roughly 9–18 and offers developmental tiers through a College Recruiting track, backed by private lessons, clinics, and a 2026 summer camp focused on fundamentals and confidence building [1].On the travel circuit, the Mets are listed with hometown North Branford and a track record that includes two active teams and 15 college commitments, with age‑group entries such as 13U on the slate [2][3].At the upper levels, the 17U/18U side posted a 5–4 mark with 6.22 runs scored per game and 3.89 allowed in recent tournament play, while the 2026 group appears on the Prospect Select HS/Academy calendar [4][5].The coaching staff features former pros and veteran evaluators — including Jose Alegria, Joel Guerrero, Rymer Liriano, and Rafael “Raphy” Quezada — reinforcing the academy’s emphasis on skill growth and confidence [1].Day to day, the club organizes rosters and registration through LeagueApps and shares updates and contact info on its X channel [6][7].
