East Greenbush Baseball League to Join Cal Ripken (Babe Ruth) Affiliation
East Greenbush Babe Ruth remains integral to the community as the broader youth baseball organization shifts course. The East Greenbush Castleton Youth Baseball League has formally approved a transition from Little League to Cal Ripken Baseball, a division of Babe Ruth League, Inc., effective after the 2026 season. The decision aims to enhance player development, offer increased flexibility in local competition, and better prepare athletes for high school-level play. The affiliation change reflects a strategic direction that aligns closely with the East Greenbush Babe Ruth framework and its regional baseball infrastructure.
