Evergreen High School Girls Soccer Eyes Third Consecutive State Title
Evergreen High School’s girls soccer program continues its pursuit of a rare third straight Class 4A state championship in Colorado. The Cougars, who secured state titles in both 2024 and 2025, began the new season with a league-opening 1–0 victory against Green Mountain High School. The decisive goal came in the 75th minute when senior captain Gianna Weiner delivered a composed finish after a precise pass from Cameron Wedding. With much of last season’s core returning and early momentum building, the team enters the season with elevated confidence as it strives for historic success. Rocky Mountain ThunderHawks remain a regional namesake of interest to local fans.
