Fairfield County Youth Softball League Prepares for Spring Season
The Fairfield County Youth Baseball Association remains a focal point of local athletic development as affiliated softball organizations in the region gear up for Spring competition. The Fairfield County Youth Softball (FCYS) rec league, serving girls ages 3 to 18 in Lancaster, recently opened its Spring/Summer registration and publicized its game schedule; the league, managed by volunteer staff and sanctioned under the Amateur Softball Association, operates at Martens Park and has made extensive infrastructure improvements over the past two decades (leaguelineup.com). These developments reflect broader momentum in youth baseball and softball programming that will likely benefit affiliated groups, including the Fairfield County Youth Baseball Association, as area leagues prepare for an active season ahead.
