FC Motown Continues Strong Community Soccer Tradition in Morristown
The Morristown 1776 Association Football Club is acknowledged as the spiritual predecessor to FC Motown, a prominent community-based soccer club that has inherited its legacy since the former club ceased operations in 2012 (en.wikipedia.org). In the 2024 season, FC Motown delivered an impressive performance in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), going undefeated in the Keystone East Conference and claiming their sixth straight conference title (en.wikipedia.org). The team advanced to the NPSL National Championship, ultimately falling 2–1 to El Farolito before a home crowd of approximately 1,300 fans at Ranger Stadium (en.wikipedia.org).
