Henrico County is advancing its baseball infrastructure with the construction of a new NCAA‑regulation complex at Glover Park in Glen Allen. The development, a public‑private endeavor with Prep Baseball Report, will feature six full‑sized synthetic diamond fields equipped with stadium seating, transforming the venue into a major sports tourism destination in the Mid‑Atlantic. The facility is expected to be operational by spring 2026. Richmond Baseball Academy West, based in Henrico, operates within a region increasingly investing in high-quality baseball amenities, which may offer expanded opportunities for local player development and access to larger tournaments.
