Hooks announce 2026 coaching staff; Ricky Rivera returns as manager
The Hooks confirmed their 2026 staff with Ricky Rivera returning for a second consecutive season as manager. Zach Wilkins will oversee the pitchers, Bobby Bell will guide the bats, and Jeremy Cologna will serve as development coach, with athletic trainer Jennifer Bardales and strength coach Kevin Rivera rounding out the group [1][4].The staff takes the reins again at Whataburger Field as the Astros’ Double-A affiliate embarks on another Texas League campaign in Corpus Christi [2]. The continuity with Rivera and a balanced staff structure aligns with the organization’s player-development track as prospects make the jump toward Houston [1][4].
