JOBL — the Junior Optimist Baseball League — anchors youth baseball and softball in Concord, operating as a nonprofit that traces its roots back to 1963 and serving local families each spring [1][3].The league maintains an official website and an active Facebook presence for schedules, sign‑ups, and league updates, giving parents and players a central hub for teams, rules, and contacts [1][2].JOBL’s community footprint stretches back years in the local diamond scene; archived clips from past league tournaments and PeeWee championship moments remain online, underscoring the program’s long running place in Concord youth baseball [4][5].
