Local Youth Baseball and Softball Activity Highlighted in Hialeah
THE MIAMI TIGERS are indirectly connected to a surge in regional development as youth baseball and softball initiatives gain momentum in nearby Hialeah. The Miami Marlins Youth Academy at Babcock Park recently conducted Nike RBI tryouts in late March and early April, offering teams in both softball and baseball for ages 13–18 (mlb.com). In addition, sailors and marines volunteered at the same academy during Fort Lauderdale Fleet Week in April 2025, providing coaching support to young athletes in softball and tee-ball (dvidshub.net). These efforts reflect a robust ecosystem of youth baseball and softball activity in the area surrounding THE MIAMI TIGERS’ community.
