Machia Baseball Group opens Santiago DR summer camp; Bronx workouts and games vs academies
Machia Baseball Group is rolling out its hybrid model again this season: Bronx‑based workouts leading into a Santiago, Dominican Republic camp beginning Aug. 15. Players get position‑specific instruction for catchers, pitchers, infielders and outfielders, daily hitting and defensive work, plus scrimmages with local academies [1][2].The travel package covers 14 nights at a 4‑star hotel in Santiago with private transportation, a certified athletic trainer traveling with the group, three meals a day, and team training jerseys. Airfare is not included. The total cost is listed at $5,700 per athlete, secured by a $500 non‑refundable deposit [1].Sessions are staffed by former minor‑league professionals, with Ramón Fernández leading speed and conditioning. Practices and games are slated to stream on the group’s social channels, and Bronx players are invited to register for the upcoming camp window [1][2].
