Machia Baseball Group sets Bronx-to-DR summer camp for Aug. 15
Machia Baseball Group is lining up a summer camp that departs from the Bronx to Santiago, Dominican Republic on August 15, packaging a 14-night hotel stay at Hodelp Garden Court, private ground transport between Cibao International Airport, the hotel and fields, three daily meals, a certified athletic trainer, live-streamed practices and games, a training jersey, and on-site scout evaluations; airfare is not included [1]. The program continues its usual Bronx slate built around sport-specific instruction with strength, conditioning, and speed work under a “body-first” approach [1][2].Pricing for the Dominican Republic camp lists a $500 non-refundable deposit and a total of $5,700 per athlete, with full payment due ahead of the stated deadline [1]. Staff bios highlight speed and conditioning led by Ramón Fernández, alongside instructors with professional and minor-league backgrounds [1][2].Fernández also promotes hitting and pitching instruction, conditioning, and private sessions for kids from the Bronx and surrounding areas, aligning with the group’s focus on player development at home and abroad [3].
