Macon Bacon: CPL wood-bat club at Luther Williams since 2018
Summer baseball in Middle Georgia runs through Luther Williams Field, where the Macon Bacon compete as a wood‑bat collegiate team in the Coastal Plain League [1]. The club has been part of the CPL since 2018 [1].Home dates roll under the lights at historic Luther Williams Field, a long-standing Macon landmark that gives the Bacon a classic stage every season [1]. The team’s identity leans into a red-and-black palette that’s become part of the game-night look around the park [1].Fans track schedules, promotions, and in-game updates through the club’s official channels, which stay active throughout the summer [2].
