Manchester City Expands Youth Development in Charlotte Region
Manchester City has launched a partnership with Charlotte Soccer Academy, integrating its coaching methodology at the club’s Pre‑ECNL U10–U12 level. Two full‑time City coaches will relocate to Charlotte to collaborate with the academy’s staff and players, aiming to enhance technical foundations and decision‑making among young players. The initiative offers participants annual travel opportunities to Manchester for competitive matches. This move marks a significant step in youth soccer development in Charlotte, reinforcing the region’s growing presence in elite soccer pathways through close alignment with a Premier League club’s education model.
