Maryland Legislature Considers Bond Funding to Upgrade Diamond Collective Facility
The Maryland General Assembly is currently reviewing a 2026 bond initiative that allocates $400,000 for improvements at the Diamond Collective, an indoor baseball training facility located at 1205 South Carey Street in Baltimore. The Diamond Collective serves as the home for the Baltimore Urban Baseball Association (BUBA), offering baseball and softball programming, academic support, mentorship, and leadership development to youth. Following a 2024 expansion that doubled the facility’s size from 10,000 to 20,000 square feet, the requested bond funding aims to support additional infrastructure upgrades to enhance capacity and programming effectiveness for the club and its community partners.
